Calculating with more than 5 decimals

Hi all,
 
I have following example:
Item = Capsules - 350K PCS
I order this per 350 000 pieces
 
2 units:
Base UoM = UNIT
PCS = 1/350 000 of a UNIT
 
 
I  consume in pieces.
BC rounds at 5 decimals. This causes wrong inventory stock values.
In the general ledger setup there are some setup fields but it's only finance related.
Is there a solution in place to track inventory on more than 5 decimals?

    You can't do that. The maximum decimal place for Quantity is 5 and this is by system design.
     
    Base UoM should be the lowest unit of the item, 1 quantity.
    In this case, it should be in PCS and not UNIT.

    You need to set up the smallest unit of measure as the base UOM, which will save you from the decimals issue. If entries have been posted, you could consume all remaining inventory, then make the change. Or you could create a new item with correct base UOM.

    Yi Yong is correct, 5 decimals places is typically the maximum you can use.
