Longer than 5 decimal places issue

We are running into an issue where we see 5 decimal places displayed on the page, but the actual value when we do the page inspection has more than 5 decimal places.  For example, qty shipped base on a sales line displays 5 decimals but has more than 5 decimals in actuality when we check the page inspection.  We enter the qty to invoice and we get an error because the values do not match (qty to invoice is 5 decimals but qty shipped base is more than 5 decimals).
This with the type of Item and using a unit of measure that is not the base unit of measure.
We are trying to determine if this is base BC or if this is an extension that is causing this problem for us.
Has anyone run into this issue before?

this looks like a data issue. the long decimal places might have been imported via data import on go alive.
you need to find the data table of the data and clean up there. Find a dev if needed to assist.

I agree with Jun Wang. Usually wrong data are imported from excels, where the Quantity or Amount fields are calculated, and just rounded up, but when doing import, in NAV the full un-rounded value is being imported.

Another thing is that if You are already using Unit of Measure (UoM) other than Base UoM, then You should be able to create another UoM that would be smaller. If You are using less than 1/10000 of this the quantity, then there should be a smaller UoM You can use.
