How to create multiple accounts below a user

Hi, I have just started using Dynamics (Finance and Operations) a few days ago. To say I am lost is an understatement so I will start with this first question. How do I create multiple accounts beneath me as if I am doing the accounting for separate companies via the Dynamics platform?

Do you perhaps mean multiple Legal entities (companies)? Those can be created in Organization administration module. Just type Legal entities in the search bar on top of the D365 screen.

"Accounts" can denote many things, kindly specify.

Is it main accounts or you want different company to be created?

Welcome to D365 platform.

If you have multiple legal entities then the first thing you should decide is if you need unified chart of accounts in all legal entities or not.

When you say companies, Do you mean Separate legal entities?

Please share some more details about what exact business structure/company hierarchy you have in your mind to setup?

Yes, I will have a unified chart of accounts (used by all separate legal entities under this umbrella of sorts).

It is possible to have a single chart of accounts used by multiple legal entities. Can you explain what you want to achieve with 'below a user'? I don't understand your question.
