Hi - I'm hoping someone can help with an issue im having on an FRX to MR2012 migration (on SL 2011 SP2).

After i have migrated the reports, i try open them in MR2012 and get an error that states: "The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework"

has anybody has this before and/or know how to solve it?

    Is this only happening with the migrated reports?  Can you create a dummy report from scratch?

    You might want to load the MR Configuration console (on the server) and make sure that your company has been set up under the ERP Integrations and that both the Application and Process services are running.

    Getting MR up and running for the first time can be a bit complex.  However, if you can create a new report and the error is only occurring with migrated reports then it sounds like the migration failed at some point.  I know this is not a definitive answer to your issue but is a starting point.

    thanks for the response Rick...

    As soon as i select the 'New' button under 'Reports' (to create a new report), it gives the same error.

    I can however create Rows and Columns perfectly fine..

    P.S. I've made sure that the companies are included in the ERP integrations section of MR Config Console.
