How do i set the catalog approval status to approved in the standard Commerce Demo environment?

In AX2012 i could open the AOT and run the tutorial_workflow processor but that option is not available in D365 =)

I´ve set up a batch jobin USRT to run the workflow message processing as critical, but that does´nt seem to be able to process the workflow to process the catalog approval to status Approved.

There is a default Retail workflow, but not sure if this one is actually the correct one for publishing the catalog, and i don´t have any other matching workflows available either to process.

Thanks for any pointers in what i´m missing.

    Hi Todd.

Thanks for the reply. I realised that i was missing a step in my approval and publishing path. Sorry about the trouble. I figured it out after i read your post =)

As i knew the workflow was needed to be triggered manually, i just forgot to actually trigger it and submit it =)

    Sorry about that.

    Hi Nahh,

The flow of clicking “submit for approval” for the Catalog needs to be done manually.

The Catalog workflow is one of a few, if maybe the only one, that is mandatory. Other workflows can be disabled in D365 without requiring the submit flow.

As this needs to be managed manually, if you are wanting this to be done without user interaction you would want to look into possibly customizing.

    Hi Nahh,

I will leave this for the community to answer. Let's see if anybody has experienced the same and can advise for you anything.
