While posting TE transaction, credit posted to account 3700 YTD Net Income. Unfortunately no JE can be posted directly to this account; other than going thru SQL Server, is there another possible entry?

    RE: System Message 6518

Any time something posts to either an income or expense acct, the system automatically posts that same amt to the ytd net income acct.

So if you need to adjust the ytd net income acct,  post to an income or expense acct.

A credit posted to the yet net income acct increases that acct since it is a liability acct.  So to decrease it you need to debit an expense acct or debit an income acct to either increase your expense or reduce your income.
