    Hello Sadiq,

on the forms you will see if you Change Client language to arabic.

On the Report you will see if language is set to arabic, i am not sure about the Standard Labels if there is Translation for it.

Best way check on a test enviroment.

For Vendor/Customer, the only possibility would be to develop something new, a table like on released items.

But you have Change all functions of generating Reports, which are using Vendor/Customer

    i hope this helps

    Hello,

Please try to go to File > Tools > Options  >> and change the language to Arabic (same as the one you used to set the labels to), and then logout and login again.

    Thank you,

    Thanks Prieler and Kaled,

    Appreciate your prompt input.

But changing the language to Arabic from File > Tools > Options  >> is changing the whole interface into Arabic. This I don't want. I want to show Arabic text in the Released Products list form  which I entered in Translate form side by side description in English.

    Hi Sadiq

The answer for your question is copy paste.

Where ever you need arabic text. Type the proper information in a note pad.

Copy and paste in the respective column.

follow the same for vendor master and customer master.

    Check the screenshot

(Its applicable for AX 2012 and D365)

Can it not be done by Personalize --> Add fields --> Product translation.

    Hi Praveen Kumar Mohanraj.

In case I use search name field to enter Arabic text, will it not effect the standard functionality linked with search name field.

    Hi Sadiq,

As per Microsoft below is the use of translation text. (So it cannot be done using it)

(The text translations that you create are displayed on documents for customers or vendors where a language code is applied, such as packing slips and invoices. Also, when the system language for the user corresponds to the translations, the translations are displayed in procurement catalogues in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX - which means if the customer text is arabic, in the packing slip you can see the arabic item name. )

And dont use search name field , i just given a example for showcase how AX can handle multi-language .

    ------

I would suggest you to create two new fields in the product master such as Arabic product name and Arabic description. And copy past the arabic values there. In reports if you want to display them. call the custom fields in the reports.

As well as for the customer and vendor master create custom fields and enter arabic text there.

We did the same in one of our implementation. No issue found till now.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Praveen,

There is a field in DirPartyTable named KnownAs. What is your opinion if I use it to store Arabic text for Customer and Vendor name. Then use this field to display in Reports as well.

    Hello Sadiq,

does your application host more then one Company? I mean companies outside, which will not use arabic text.

I would recommend to define an extra field for that, as dirpartytable is the gobal address.
