Activity is not linked to Old Entity when converted to Opportunity. How this can be achieved?

Hi Team,

 

Need your suggestion on below Possibility.

 

Example: Activity Type as /Task/ is created from Account so /Regarding/ field in task have Account Name Linked to it.

When Task gets converted to Opportunity that Task gets linked to Opportunity under opportunity's Activity where Regarding field in Task is linked to Opportunity.

 

Now, This task is no more linked to Account,

Is there any way how i can achieve this. Means, Even Task gets converted into Opportunity then i want to see Account into task Activity.

    Hi partner,
    In the task form, the regarding field will be changed to opportunity when you convert the task to opportunity.
    But you can still see the task on the timeline of the account:
    If you want to view account on the task form, you can create one account lookup on the task form, then copy regarding value to new created lookup when you convert the task to opportunity.
