D365 F&O VAT Report generated from ER - Missing ID for COID and VAT

When generating the VAT report (setup using ER) there are 2 places where information is needed

Corporate Identity Number
VAT Number

Where is the correct place to create and setup these IDs in order to get the missing info fields in the picture below. *

Is it to create this info in the section below in the second image?

COID to be created here?

Organization and administration -> Organisation -> Legal Entities

Hello,

Its hard to say, because I dont know which (format) configuration you are using. If you me, I can look it up.

I also had difficulties, also bugs which wasnt fixed by MS to display the VAT number. My solution was to create a logic in ER, depending on the company to display the VAT number. I am not saying its a good approach, but it works for me, given that the other solution didnt.

Hi,

Yes, this is the primary form where you set up the organisation’s VAT number, and it works in the majority of cases. Just make sure you have selected the correct country when configuring the registration types.

Additionally, define the VAT number in the following fields, although some of these fields are only relevant for Intrastat reporting.
