Running OOB report from the Unified Interface (on Prem) using Custom Button

Hello,

I have quite a few reports that I would like to run from the home view, however Run Report functionality isn't available for the on-prem version so I created a custom Ribbon to hold all the reports. I am trying to pass the report url using JavaScript is that feasible?

    It seems they used iframe approach here, you can check it out if you haven't.
