Is it possible to have a checkbook setup as a US checkbook for EFT purposes and have a vendor setup as a Canada bank country/region for EFT and pay the Canadian vendor from the US checkbook?

Just few thoughts..
If you are paying in US$ (no multicurrency involved in GP), then that could be possible. I think it depends on whether the Banks allows EFT transmission. If you are trying to pay in CAD$, I don't think Payables EFT supports multicurrency.
