Missing the expand button for subgrid

Hi,

My subgrid is missing the expand button. It's supposed to appear next to the add new button ( the "+" Button). Would anyone tell me how to reactivate it ?

This will be because you don't have the Contacts navigation item in your form. I would expect that you don't see Contacts in the pull down navigation bar.

Customise your form and ensure that the Contacts relationship that the subgrid is connected to is shown in the left hand navigation.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your reply but I dont think that the cause. As you can see here, I have many contacts in the grid but I still dont have the expand button

Hi,

Sorry, I don't think I explained my self very well.

The Open Associated subgrid button will only show if the Contacts are included in the navigation already.

So you would see a link Contacts in the navigation bar:

To add Contacts to the navigation you must edit the form and the relationship to the left nav:

Also make sure that Navigation elements is turned on in the form Properties!
