It's urgent

Since you’re grouping by Post Code, you’ll need to carry Post Code up into dataset from Sales Header. I think Build report in AL with dataset (Shipment Header → Shipment Line → Sales Header lookup). Use RDLC layout for grouping by Post Code.

    Table 7320: Warehouse Shipment Header

    Table 7321: Warehouse Shipment Line

Table 36: Sales Header (for Ship-to Address, Post Code)

    Table 37: Sales Line

Table 27: Item and Item Description.

You can also use current warehouse shipment layout and make the changes.

    Thanks

    Hello,

As this is a customized report, it must be developed using the relationship to the tables considered in said report.

I would recommend reviewing it with your partner in order to develop said report as soon as possible, as the standard will not be able to cover it.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

Business Central doesn’t have a standard report that groups Warehouse Shipments by Ship-to Post Code. To achieve your requirement (grouping sales order deliveries by postcode with totals), you’ll need a custom report or a query built on:

    *Warehouse Shipment Header (7320)

Warehouse Shipment Line (7321) → filter where Source Document Type = Sales Order

Sales Header (36) → to pull Ship-to fields

Sales Line (37) → to calculate totals by postcode

The report can then group by Ship-to Post Code and sum up quantities for each group.

👉 This grouping and box-style layout you described isn’t possible with standard reports — it requires custom RDLC/Word layout.

What you want is not possible with a standard BC report — you will need a custom report in AL. you need to contact to your partner.

    Hi,

Designing a delivery report grouped by Ship-to Post Code from Warehouse Shipment Lines requires careful filtering, dataset structuring, and RDLC grouping logic. The urgency is valid, this kind of report is often used for dispatch planning and logistics coordination.

    Here’s how to approach it:

    • Start by creating a report object that pulls data from the Warehouse Shipment Header and Warehouse Shipment Line tables.
    • Filter the lines where Source Document Type = Sales Order. From these lines, use the Source No. to retrieve the corresponding Sales Order Header.
    • From the Sales Order Header, extract the Ship-to Post Code, Ship-to Address, and other relevant fields.
    • In your dataset, include:
      • Sales Order No.
      • Item No. from Warehouse Shipment Line
      • Quantity
      • Ship-to Address
      • Ship-to Post Code

Once your dataset is ready, move to the RDLC layout:

    • Use Row Groups to group by Ship-to Post Code.
    • For each group, calculate the total quantity of items to be delivered.
    • Display the grouped data in a structured format:
      • Header: Common Post Code, Total Qty
      • Body: Sales Order No., Item No., Description, Qty, Ship-to Address

You can also add a company logo and work date in the report header for branding and timestamping.

    Hi,

Standard BC doesn’t provide a delivery report grouped by Ship‑to Post Code from selected Warehouse Shipments. You’ll need (a) a small custom AL report that respects selected shipment headers, pulls Sales Header Ship‑to Post Code, and groups/sums by a postcode prefix; or (b) a Power BI report built on the same joins.
