    Hi,

The primary field value is missing, kindly update it with a value.

You can't change it - you can only populate that field and, then, it will display the value. If you don't need "name" to be populated, maybe use a workflow to still populate it from some other field.

Can you make sure primary field of this record has some value ? sometime it will show it because of that as well, also make sure first column in the lookup view is the primary field of the entity, Once if was similar kind of issue where primary name wast  not the first field on lookup view.

Not sure if this will help you but you can verify.

OK. I just saw the issue.

Lookup control show as the text the primary field value in the box after selection.

It seems like you do not have any value in that field (Name field by default).

If you populate data in the Name field, that is the data that you will see in the lookup.

You cannot have another field being displayed there as default behavior of the system.

    Hope this helps.

If you save the record, does the (no name) change to the actual value?

I have a similar issue open with Microsoft which I am still waiting for a resolution.

    Please check.
