Print W-2 window is defaulting the first company address in company setup

I don't remember seeing this happen in previous versions of GP, but in my local install of GP 2016 R2, when I open the print W-2 window - it is defaulting the first address ID, company name and address under the company setup, instead of the primary address ID.  Is this a bug?

I can't seem to find any place in Payroll setup to select a default address ID for W-2's, so why is this happening?

Thanks,

Deb

    Hi Deborah,

I believe the W-2 company address is set to whatever the address on the company setup window was when you closed payroll.

In this case - Fabrikam company, I did not create the year end wage file.  I had another client also have this issue - she had to change the address ID to add a 1 in front of the ID name (like 1 Primary) so it would take that as the default.
