Jobs Number Sequence

Hi there,

Im trying to set up a number sequence for new Jobs in Talent, but there doesn't seem to be one available? this seems like an oversight to me, i believe there used to be one available in AX2012. Is there really no number sequence available or am i missing something?

    Go to system administration, here you find the number sequences.

    if you open this, on the top left you have the "New-Generate" button if you created a new legal entity

    or press the "New-number sequence" button the manually create a new one

    Hi Hans,

    Thanks for the reply, i am aware of the process for creating a new number sequence, unfortunately there is no option to assign that new number sequence to the jobs- i have spoken with support regarding this and they say that there is no requirement for a jobs number sequence. Essentially you can not have an automatic number sequence for jobs in Talent.
