Available field missing from open in excel

Hello everyone,

We have added a new financial dimension for Vendor to our current set of financial dimensions.

Since we have a lot of vendor records that we want to update with the new dimension, we though it would be good to use the Open in excel option, mass populates the values there and then publish it.

However, when we opened all of the vendors in Excel, I could not find the new dimension in the list of available fields.

I have added the dimension previously in Financial dimension configuration for integrating applications and refreshed the entity list in data management.

Is there a step I am missing?

Hi Teodora,

Have you added the new findim to the default and ledger integration configuration integrations?

Are both of them set active?

Is the new findim active and included in the account structures you have?

No, it is not in maintenance mode at the moment.

I have not tried restarting it, will do now.

The last thing I can think of is reloading the system templates in the document templates form in the common module.

If this does not fix the issue, get some help from a developer and/or contact the MS support.

Hello TeodoraMK,

Can you add the DefaultDimensionDisplayValue table; update and then refresh the open in excel.

I just tried and it is showing like below.

Otherwise, reload the system template as Ludwig mentioned.

Thank you for the suggestion, Sourav.

I actually needed the dimensions to be displayed separately, not all together.

But, if I don't resolve the issue differently, I will try this.
