How to undo raw materials consumption when validating a negative output?

Hi!

A positive production output was validated by mistake. While it is easy to go back to the production order (still open), and then enter a negative output of that particular item using a production journal, the raw materials consumed do not go back in stock. By displaying all flushing methods, the list of raw materials appear but all the quantities are 0 by default on the journal.

The components list is well set up for the article to produce:

Is there any way to either, make it so that the quantities would update correctly depending on the number entered in the 'Qty output' column for the output line? Or is there any other way to undo the consumption of the correct amount of raw materials? Without having to manually input them into a production or consumption journal which could take ages depending on the item?

    Hi,

i don't think there is any provision in Base system for Undo consumption or update the posted quantiles based on qty output.

best possible way i can think of, close production order with incorrect output and component item than post negative adjustment for the out quantity and post positive adjustment for the component. make sure you book positive adjustment with same cost in which it was consumed.

than create new production order and book correct quantity.

    Regards,

    Alok
