Hi Community,
 
My user tried to post a negative value in purchase line with something like -0.03 and she was prompted with below error.
 
Please advise..
 
a) Can Purchase Line input negative value?
 
B) If no, how should we subtract the value from the purchase invoice?

    Hi, yes, but if the total amount of the Purchase Document is negative, it cannot be posted.

    a) Can Purchase Line input negative value?
    Yes, but there needs to be another greater positive value on another line, so that the total amount posted is positive when adding all lines.

     
    B) If no, how should we subtract the value from the purchase invoice?
    If you have a Posted Purchase Invoice already, then you can do a Purchase Credit Memo and apply it to that invoice.
