If I want to add auto onboarding verification for new accounts, what would be the best practice?

For example, checking Driving License number or VAT number?

First you need to have a verified number database, or connect to an external server to verify from the outside. Then add the validation code to the OnValidate trigger of the field. The VAT Registration No. on the customer card is a good example.
