Hi Enrique,
Yes in regards to: You can develop your own asp page with vbscript and programmatic via web services get crm data. OR embed your custom asp pages in a crm IFRAME.But if you mean to modify crm out of the box aspx pages, then no. You can not modify crm 4 out of the box web pages.
Hey Alex thanks for your answer.
Indeed im trying to show a custom ASP within an iframe, i thought that the problem was some VBSCRIPT that i had on it, i removed the vbscript but i keep getting an CRM generic error window when i click a button on my ASP.
I've been checking about it but still cant get what cause the error , Im using PlaceHolder and Panel controls into my ASP, don't know if there is some limitations with those controls.
Thanks again!
If your asp web page is a page in a different web site, unrelated to crm, then you should be able to show anything. We often embed 3rd party asp or asp.net pages in iframes inside crm and they work great for easily presenting information to the end user.
Is your page completely outside of crm's web site?
Thanks for your speedy answer Alex.
The page that im trying to show is a custom one, i've placed the published asp.net page in the ISV folder of the server where CRM is, its a simple page with a dropdownlist a textbox and a button, i select a number from 1 to12 in the dropdownlist and type a number in the textbox then when i press the button the page is suppose to show N new textboxes based in the number of the dropdownlist. Its a ASP with the code behind in VB.net
The ASP load fine , but when i give the numbers and press de button it just Send an generic "Error" Page .
Im using the PLACEHOLDER, and PANEL controls in the ASP to dynamically create the textboxes , still can't figure out whats the problem :(
Thanks in advance Alex!
