Hi,

I am trying to add a lookup in one of my forms which will lookup for customer ID. I can see that GP has a lookup form "Customer Search". I would like to connect my lookup button to open that form. Would you please let me know what is the physical name of that form so that I can write the script "open form ..."? Thank you.

Also is there any list of all the GP form physical and display name? I appreciate any help.

Ila

From which window do you access this form?  I can't find a form called 'Customer Search'

Thanks for your reply. the navigation is Sales >Cards > Customer (Customer Maintenance). If I click the lookup button beside Customer ID, the 'Customer Search' lookup window opens. Thanks.

The physical form name is 'Customer_Lookup'.  Display name is 'Customers and Prospects'.  I found this using the Support Debugging Tool (SDT).  You can request this tool from your GP Partner.

    Hope this helps,

    Ila,

You can find the resource name for GP Window, Field and Tables within GP. Go to Tools-->Resource Description and find the names for the descriptions whatever you want.

For more detail about GP Resource Description, please have a look on the below link.

    Hope this helps!!!
