Dear All,

When performing a code upgrade, on "Import Microsoft AOD files into the baseline model store" step, i have incountered a warning saying "Cannot import all items from the AOD file. See the log file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\AXUpgrade\Log\AODImport-sys-old.log' for details."

I entered the .log file, first i have that message "

This log file lists issues found importing the AOD file for the sys layer.

If the list contains renamed elements please verify that the renames are indeed a rename and not
an import into another object.
If the rename was made into another element you should delete the imported metadata for this element.

If the list contains elements which wasn't imported you have to import the elements manually (assuming
you want to import the elements).
This is done by finding the elements in the old installation and do an XPO export.
Then you can import the XPO in the new installation.

"

Then I have same warning cause on all the errors example : "Warning: The  element with the name HTMLHelpFileAdmin could not be imported because the  element has been deprecated."

And I can't find all the layers like usr, var,cus ...

Can any one help me ?

Regards,

Hassan Khalil

Dear Hassan, please don't create multiple threads about the same question, it just makes it more complicated for everybody (including yourself). You should have updated your original thread instead of creating a new one, but because you have now more information here, I'll delete your previous thread.

Great, now you looked into the log and found more details. But you again forgot to act on what it tells you, namely reviewing the list of renamed elements. Please do it now.

Note that it may be a consequence of a failure to import layers correctly, which would match your vague remark that you can't find all layers.
