Currently we have setup the RF device in a way user select the disposition code the inventory status will be defined as per the location directive setup. To improve accuracy there is a requirement to automate the disposition code based on the item master- filter codes. Can any one suggest recommended approach?

Do you mean that you want to decide which disposition code is selected for which item based on the filter code in the item master.
If that is the case you can consider the following scenario.
There are two disposition codes Available and Blocked
We have two filter codes - Electronics item and General item
Now make two location directive for put away location
Location directive 1 with disposition code available and filter code electronics in the query
Location directive 2 with disposition code blocked and filter code general in the query.
Now based on the item being received in the warehouse AX will select the respective location directive to select the put away location and will default the disposition code based on location directive setup.
So i above case if we have two items
Item A - Filter code electronics
Item B - Filter code general
Now create a purchase order for item A and receive it on mobile device.
Location directive 1 will be selected and disposition code available will be applied.
