How do I control change of quantity of products in sales orders in AX 2012 r2
Can you explain a bit what you mean by controlling changes?
Do you want to block changes? Log changes? Make changes?
I would like to control who makes the changes that and also log those change
- Control who makes the changes: this can be done by security. Only the users who are allowed to make changes should be granted maintain privilege for sales orders
- Log changes: you can use Database log functionality for this.
Hi Waw,
The database log that Nikolaos mentioned can tack those changes but it is not recommended using it as it will track a lot of data and make your system slow.
Can you let us know:
a) Why you want to track those changes? and
b) who is regularly checking the changes made?
