Hi All,

I received a request asking me if I can change the length string in the Address Id  box in Transactions >> Return management >> RMA Entry/Update . Right now the max amount of characters allowed is 15, I also did some research in google but did not find anything useful. Below is an image of what I am talking about. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Sorry but have to agree with Shan - there is not a 'safe' or 'supported' method available to make that field any bigger.

Think we tried to get this bigger some time back, but for the reasons noted by Shan, that is not going to happen.

The answer is no for your requirement. If you are looking out for some description fields then I would recommend DUOS (Dynamic User Object Store) for extending that field. But, the Address ID field which is primary (unique) key/index fields and it is used across the GP application. You may use some custom field and table to capture the value & display.
