Item Price List and Item Currency - Does one update the other?

I am trying to determine if (in GP 2015 R2) it is possible to update the Item Currency when updating the Item Price List. Is there a connection between the two so that both areas are updated at the same time? It appears that some items are getting updated, but others are not. I am trying to determine if it is a user handling this or if this is happening automatically.
