Password Change Failed for an Unknown Reason

Hello:

In a test environment, I upgraded GP 2010 (11.00.2197) to GP 2013 (12.00.1290).  In order to have a test environment, I had to of course move data to a new server.  This requires changing the passwords of the GP users.

For at least two of these users, upon trying to change their passwords, I'm getting an error message saying that the password change failed for an unknown reason.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

John

You need to run the Capture Logins script found in KB878449.

    Hi Richard:

Before the test upgrade, I had asked one of our IT people to do so.  He was hesitant, at first, and did not do so.

But, I e-mailed him last night, after I had posted this concern here in the Community.  He must have already run it, prior to my getting into the office, because I'm no longer getting this error.  :)

Thanks so much for verifying my thinking, Richard!
