Hi Everyone,

I am new to Microsoft Dynamics ax 2009. I have a one issue to resolve.

While Creating PO the Unit Price field value makes the field empty when they change the quantity of the line item. For this issue what should I do?

Thanks in advance & Regards,

    Hi Vignesh,

You have to check if there are trade agreements for this item setup or not. Possibly there is also no purchase price (fallback) n the item form? When you change the quantity, it will recheck the purchase price based on the trade agreements first; then the price on the item form.

If you don't want the system to change the price, you can try to create a small customization. Keep in mind that this can break the default behavior. Possibly add a dialog box to let the user decide to keep the price or retrieve the new one based on the AX logic.

    Hi Vignesh,

I cannot do the work for you. I try to answer questions; not taking ownership of other persons requirements.

A developer is able to analyse which coding is called for the price search and then know how and where to hook in.
