Hello,

I trust that you are all well.

I have a question around Miscellaneous Log Entry and Distributions.

I have setup the Miscellaneous Log and included the relevant GL Accounts in the setups.

When i capture a Miscellaneous Log Entry, there are no Distributions on the line. Even when i print the edit list, no distributions show up and when the batch is posted, the GL Accounts that are in the setup have not been affected.

Any reason or explanation to this and what I could be missing please?

Hello Tedwel,

Firstly, i confirmed that I was getting the distributions from the correct setup.

Then when you enter the Miscellaneous Log Entry, on the Line details, I took it for granted that the amount fields would be on the first line.

I was entering the amount in the Quantity Field and I left the Unit Cost Blank.

Once I entered the Quantity and then entered the Unit Cost, my distributions were showing correctly.

Please let me know if you still do not come right and we can figure out a solution together.
