Dynamics CRM Portals

We want to start working with Dynamics CRM Portals.

And now we are faced with the permissions problem, we want to use the portal to make it like personal account for every contact in our CRM.
Can we make the scenario, where every user (contact) that came to the portal, he will see only his data, after use his credentials on the portal?
What permissions we need to use.

Yes, this is supported in a number of ways.

"Current Portal User" is an attribute you can filter by, and in entity lists you can filter by "contact" or "account" or through Entity Permissions, to limit access to just associated records.

Take a look at the out of the box Cases List permissions when you install the trial portal for examples

    Hi Oleg

Can you please clarify how you are displaying data in Portal i.e Entity list or using Entity form. If you are displaying data using Entity list then you can apply filter based on logged in contact(user) by passing filter on relationship in entity list properties through CRM.

    Thanks

yes we can show based on the user's login. If you are using Enity List then use associated view, for Entity form & web forms, pass the parameter as Current user in the configuration.

    hope this helps
