Download original media for out-of-date Microsoft Dynamics GP installation

I have been asked to create a test-bed version of our company's Microsoft GP 2010 server.

There is nothing wrong with the current application installation.  But I can't come up with the installation media for the application.

By searching, I have determined that the original source for the installation (MDGP 2010 RTM.zip) was "Customer Source" from Microsoft.  But I do not have the original email address that was registered with Customer Source.

I do have the product keys for the application installation, as well as administrator's access to any domain (doculynx.com) email account associated with the original Customer Source account.

Please let me know how I can reset access to the associated account.

    Yes, us old folks still remember there was this thing called a telephone that hung on the wall and you did something called dialing. It was actually much quicker than today when you press 1 for one option and then 2 for another option and so on and so on and then you get placed on hold or get sent to the wrong department and then you just hang up! Sometimes advancing ahead just gets you further behind.

    Richard, I was so focused on the 'online' solution I forgot all about making the phone call - great catch.

    I would contact sales operations at 1-800-456-0025. As long as you are current on maintenance they will get you into CustomerSource.

    Unfortunately, no one knows the email address (much less password) that was used to register with Customer Source.  I do have the ability to log into any email from the company's domain, so I can follow a password recovery email.

    Sean, if you have the email that was used for the Customer Source registration - not necessarily active - but if you know what it was - then so will the Dynamics web site.

    Have you tried to "Bing Search" Dynamics GP2010 Download - find the result that take you the Customer Source link and see what you get when you attempt to connect to the Customer Source page.  Either it will allow you with the email address and password that you know - or it will not.

    Finally, you can always contact your partner - the company that sold your software or the company that provides your site support and get them working for you to address the problem and have it resolved from that side.

    Keep us posted, and maybe someone else has a better solution.
