Whenever I create a phone call from the timeline of a contact, the Call From field isn't getting automatically populated. Am I missing something that I need to configure?

Did you try clearing your cache in the browser? Have you tried this in a different browser?

There is no such settings which should stop from field to be populated until and unless some one is removing it explicitly manually or through java script.
Since when have started noticing this issue ? , what happens if you directly go to activities nd click on phone call ? Do you see the from field getting populated ?
Something might be broken, Please do the through check and if nothing works please reach out Microsoft support.
