Promised Ship Date

Posted on by 2,135

I need to pull in the Promised Ship Date field from Purchase Order Line Temp table into the POP Purchase Order Blank Form using Report Writer. When I do, it does not show.  Does anyone know how I can pull this field so that it shows. I even tried to create a new section header using the Purchase Order Line Temp table and it did not work.  Any help would be appreciated.

also, try opening the PO in GP and changing the Promised Ship Date manually.

have you tried printing any of the other date fields?  ie Current Promised Date, Original Promised Date, Required Date, Release by Date?

Yes there is a date there.  We are actually using eRequester and they populate that field when the PO is created.  I have printed the PO multiple times on the screen, but no luck in getting the date to show.  I even tried placing the Promised Ship Date field on most of the report sections, but does not show.

Stupid question but are you sure there is a date in the field on the PO?  This field is not normally completed when a PO is first printed until after the vendor gets the PO and responds.

    Thanks Richard for responding

Yes I did and it wouldn't show up.  I even added H4 and used the Purchase Order Line Temp and no luck either.

Where are you trying to place this field on the document?  If you are using the report writer, have you placed it in the H3 section to see if it prints there?
