Universal Resource Scheduling/Schedule Board

We have just started using Resource scheduling and I have customized the schedule board in multiple ways to accommodate our business processes, but I am struggling to customize the "Create Booking Resource" pane on the schedule board. I would like to remove the last option- "Booking Method" but cannot find where you edit these fields.

Hi Kathy,

Currently the booking panel cannot be customized. Can you share the scenario you are trying to accomplish? Maybe I can help think of a solution. Regardless, please do log the idea in the ideas portal!

Hi Kathy, I don't have an answer I'm afraid but did have a question about how you're accessing Universal Resource Scheduling. Did you get it as part of the Field Service piece, or was it available as a separate solution? It's supposed to be available outside of Field Service now ("universal and all" ;) but I'm having a hard time finding out how to get it.

Hi Rob, the solution itself works completely independently of Field Service, Project Service, or Customer Service. However, just based on history, today you need to install one of these solutions in order to get URS installed. Once it is installed, you can use it without any of the schema from any of these other apps. We are working towards being able to install is on it's own but it is not available today.

Thanks Dan, appreciate the info. Not to hijack Kathy's thread further, but is URS production ready or is it a preview? I've signed up to get it installed in our sandbox through the Insider program but I'm fuzzy on if it's something we can implement in prod if we decide to go that way.

In production. It’s been powering FS and PS since platform version 8.2.

Any ideas on changing the time format from AM/PM to 24-hours?

When you change the user format, if the user format is 24-hour format it will automatically apply to the Schedule Board.

Thanks. It works for the planning grid and the view underneath, but not for the booking pane. Any ideas on how I could change it there as well?

It actually looks like this was already fixed! Can you tell me what version of FS/PS you are running?
