Shortcut Dimensions Not Visible in General Journals Page

Hi everyone,

I’ve configured a few shortcut dimensions in the General Ledger Setup, but they’re not showing up directly on the General Journals page. The only way I can access them is by going through Line > Dimensions.

I've also tried using the Personalization Mode to add the fields to the journal lines, but they are not available to select.

Has anyone run into this before or knows what might be preventing these fields from appearing?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    Hello,

Try closing the tab and reopen with a new tab or hard-refresh(ctrl+F5) it.

    Hello,

If you have already used Personalization mode to add dimension and still it not worked so it might also be a page reload or session cache issue, so try signing out and back in, or refreshing the page.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,

Shortcut Dimensions aren't there by default, you need to put into navigating to personalize and then post refreshing the screen.

    Hi,

If the dimensions have been added in the General Ledger Setup they should appear in the journal and document lines automatically?

I wrote about this in my blog below:

Hi, Try the following method first
Business Central 2023 wave 2 (BC23): Add existing table fields to optimize your pages (Adding Table Fields to Page without Page Extensions)
