start and end date in Work Order

Hello experts,

I see three different types of start and end date in work order.

It seems that expected start date is a mandatory but the other dates are optional.

Does anyone know what are the purpose/impact of entering these dates?

I think these dates can be used for reference purpose (e.g. analyzing work order performance based on expected dates and actual dates).

I would like to know any values (e.g. pros and cons) of maintaining these dates in work orders.

Thank you.

    Hi Micheal,

It is in the name itself

Expected - This date is the expected start and end date of the WO

Scheduled - This is the scheduled start and end date of the WO

Actual - This is the date when the WO was actually started and ended

    Thanks and Regards,

    Nehal Shaikh
