Hi,

i suceesfully did a data upgrade from AX2012r3 to finance and operations ,after the data upgrade i realised the payroll module was not visible.

Please can somebody help me.

Hi Foaghana1,

Can you provide some more details? Was the payroll not visible in AX2012 or Dynamics 365? Are the tables available and filled in the Dynamics 365 database?

Hi,

The payroll module was visible in both AX 2012 and Dynamics 365.The payroll tables are available and filled in the dynamics 365

Hi, I just realized I cant access payroll tables in systablebrowser but it can be accessed from sql server.

I get this error when accessing from systablebrowser.

You are not authorized to access table ‘Earning code detail’ (PayrollEarningCodeDetail). Contact your system administrator.

Hi Foaghana1,

Starting with this : "You are not authorized to access table ‘Earning code detail’ (PayrollEarningCodeDetail). Contact your system administrator.",

Could you please confirm that:

1. You have the appropriate security access on the PersonnelManagement model in K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory

2. The Visible property is set to Yes on PayrollEarningCodeDetail in Visual studio.

Issue resolved .it had to do with the configuration keys.

Hi,

You need to verify the configuration key with Payroll information. If you deactivate this configuration key , you get the error message and dont have access to the payroll module.
