Discount not shown on Price Per Unit field

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We have a product list that consists of licenses. We offer discounts depending on the number of licenses purchased. So for example:

1 - 250 licences would cost £9 per License

250 - 500 licencese would cost £ £7.25 per license

and this goes right up to 50k licenses, in total there are 8 brackets. I have set up the product and price list, and then created a Discount list to handle the drop in price as the licence count goes up. So at the minute if I add a line item and choose the product with 100 licences - the line will show a Price per unit of £9 and an Extended Amount of £900. If I then choose the same product for 400 licenses, it will still show a Price per unit of £9 but correctly reflect the discount in the Extended Amount of £2900. Its the fact that the Price Per Unit is not changing that is causing me (and of course the sales guys) some difficulty. Is there a way to make this react in line with the Discount lists?

Regards

Noel
