pricing by customer, item and site ??

Posted on by 255

we are in the process of implementing GP.  we're a wholesale distributor.  currently we have customer specific price catalogs.  we're trying to figure out the best way to use GP pricing to meet our needs.  the challenge is that drop ship and domestic warehouse sales for the same item have different prices.  so really our price is by customer/item/site.   we were thinking about creating different lists or sheets (not sure of the correct terminology) and then picking one to be the default on the customer.  then if we created a drop ship order the user would need to reference a different price list.  our partner is looking at options, but i figured i'd test the discussion forum with this requirement.  any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, for us the same customer will take the product both direct import from China and domestic out of our warehouse.  In this case they usually will use the domestic warehouse as backup stock (which we have to hold for them).  The price for direct import is less expensive because they are taking the ownership of of freight and duty.

We did end up purchasing Omni Pricing which allows us to price by customer/item/site.

Have a look at Omni Price (which I originally developed) now sold by http://www.rocktonsoftware.com.

    Hi

Did you come right? Can the same customer be dropshipment or domestic warehouse customer?
