Hi all,
Is anyone aware of a utility (likely 3rd party) that would make it decently easy and quick (yeah, I know) to do a bulk update of various fields for an entity (Lead or Contact in this case) using a list of records in Excel as input?
To explain further: I have a list of non-consecutive Lead records (about 1000). Prod currently contains about 11K total Lead records. The records in the Excel file span all the way across the full list in Prod and there is no field that has unique data that would identity these records in a query. So, I need to use the Excel file as, basically, a list of 1000 parameters for a query to be able to pull down the GUID's for the 1000 records. Once I have the GUID's, then I can obviously re-import. Or, if the utility has some way of managing that directly, even better.
This is time sensitive and pretty critical so help is definitely appreciated!
Thanks Bipin, but this doesn't help. It's just a more complicated way to import data from Excel. I can import from Excel fine using the standard wizard approach but that isn't what I need. I need to be able to UPDATE about 10% of the existing records.
HI,
You can use Data integration tool to import the data without any code. Check below article.
