Generated PDF file becomes corrupted

Hi all,

I have certain users trying to generate PDF's on the new 365 environment.
They get a message that the PDF file is corrupted.
When I do this in CRM with a test user it works fine.
When users that have the issue send the PDF though email to me, it is also corrupted.
So there must be something going wrong when they generate this pdf in email in CRM
Not all users have this, but some do.

Would like to have a solution for this before all other hundreds of users start complaining hahah.

Thanks in advance!

What kind of solution are you using to create PDFs in CRM? Who is the publisher?

    Hi Marc,

You could try using the tool below to generate PDF.

    dynamicsobjects.com/.../Dynamics-PDF-Docs

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Andreas,

We created an entity called 'Visit Activity' where you can generate an email from this to notify your colleagues on the visit you made at one of your clients.

In the email there is report of this Visit Activity in PDF.

    Hi Marc,

so the PDF Report was generated outside Dynamics and only attached to the email by a user?

Or do you have a tool / external solution that generates the PDF, if so, which is it?

    Hi all,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Apparently my issue is now solved with the new version of CRM.

However, they don't seem to have any info on how this was solved, quit frustrating.

But happy it's working again :)
