Preventive Maintenance for own equipment

We have three different workshops for maintenance of our own trucks. I want to activate preventive maintenance for our own vehicles and also we have some equipment which needs periodic inspection and maintenance like cranes and power generators etc.

My question is it applicable that field services can be activated for own business not for outside customers. At the end management wants to see the expenses like, labour, parts and subcontractor of our own vehicles and equipment.

We have GP 2013 and going to upgrade it to 2015 in few days.

Hi Zaheer,

Yes you can but you have to take in cosideration Machine ID prefix in order to enquire or write reports based on the prefix to collect the expenses.

Also, a customer prefix which is reflecting your instituation in order to collect all the expenses used internaly.
