We have GP 10 and we need to change the Pay type for a pay code and its greyed out.  Is there a way to change this other than the tables and if not does anyone know off hand what tables I need to change?  TIA

    Hi Brian,

    I do not know of a way to do it other than the tables. I have changed this before in the tables with success but you have to be 100% sure of what you are changing from and to and that it won't have any negative impact on the payroll history.

    I would reccomend it may be a better option to setup a new code and then add that code to your employees and inavtivate the incorrect code. This way you have the complete history of what happened and why.

    I believe the tables involved in this are UPR40600 and UPR00400

    I agree with Brian,

    Changing the pay type for a pay code could have ramifications on other tables. Best get your partner involved if you decide to go this route.
