Using Mater Templates for Item Import - Serial Number Tracking

Hi all

 

I am using Master Templates for an item import process, and it working OK until I need to set a template for Serial Number Tracked Items.  The validation on the template prevents me from adding the Serial Number, number series code to the template.

 

An additional minor point is that the customer is using order tracking on some items. I set this rule on the template,  can I prevent the planning warning from popping-up as the item is being imported?
