Hello,
We are facing something weird right now in ribbon workbench of Dynamics 365. We are not able to see "Check access" button on Form and "Open Dashboards" button in Home page in ribbon workbench.
Due to this we are not able to hide the aforesaid ribbon buttons for particular entity.

I know this thread is a bit old. From previous investigation into the "Open Dashboards" button. As far as I'm aware, the button is only visible when there is a dashboard for a certain entity. So if you delete the dashboard associated with the entity, then the "Open Dashboards" button won't appear. I would suggest trying this on a separate entity with a dummy dashboard. I think this was only for System Dashboards, but you would probably need to test it with personal dashboards as well.

For me the root cause of the issue is that you have to include dashboards in the Model App and can't choose to not have the dashboards in the app if there are dashboards for the specific entity.

Indeed the hide action is not available for this Access Checker ribbon button for some Organizations.

If that is the case, in order to hide this  button we would need to disable the Access Checker feature from the entire system. To do it, you must raise a support ticket to Microsoft in https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com, then Microsoft Support can internally disable the Access Checker feature control bit for the Organization.

I played around with this for a while and was only able to hide it once I chose the "tablet". Then I could right-click and select hide. The only problem being you'd have to do this on every single entity...

    Hi Inkey,

I successfully hid this button in my environment. I hid it all over the CRM Forms using a single configuration with ribbonworkbench

First, create a solution and add the application ribbons component.

Then, Open this solution with ribbon workbench, you will find the button on form area, Mscrm.Form(!EntityLogicalName).MainTab.

Please note that you will not see the button label on ribbon workbench:

Another thing, if the publication fails with the timeout error, just try again until it is done.

    Hello Lixzh

    Thanks for the response.

Actually we need to hide the same from Ribbon workbench, and we are not able to see these buttons in Ribbon Workbench.

Hi, could you use the Command Checker or Ribbon Workbench to check if the button has been hidden?
Command Checker -Add ribbondebug=true parameter to URL to enable this feature. You can also turn on the FCB.CommandChecker=true in the URL, If its not already enabled.
    · &ribbondebug=true
    · &ribbondebug=true&flags=FCB.CommandChecker=true
