Thank you everyone,
I want to understand about the planning and capacity. Can you help me to run capacity for 10 days instead of with 1 month time line. Apart from this what all parameters are required to run it perfectly.

Sheetal,
If you want to run MPS or MRP and MPS for a planning window of 10 days, this is possible by filling, on the planning worksheet, on the Calculate Regenerative Plan, the Starting and Ending Date. If you use a Forecast you can enter the Forecast Name and can exclude forecast counts before a certain date if necessary.
Now this is all well and good but setting up NAV so the planning parameters play a big part in how NAV results are produced. You have Replenishment System and related fields, Planning Fast Tab and related planning fields and settings. You also have Manufacturing Setup. All in all I can be writing for hours on how each field impacts results and dates also play a large part in determining start/end/due dates.
I am attaching my Planning handout that will review all the setups and fields on how NAV will produce results in MPS/MRP. Read this and test. You will get a 10 day planning window results.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Steve
