Hi,

We use in our company Dynamics CRM 2011 and I would like to create invoices using workflow.

There are no problem to create a new record of Invoice but I could not find the way to create new records of Invoice detail associated at the invoice and linked to the catalogue of Products.

Infact, in the setup of the workflow I can choose all the entity but there isn't in the list Invoice detail.

Anyone know how to create these kind of records automatically?

You'll need a custom plugin to handle this, or at minimum a custom workflow step. To my knowledge, there's no way to automate that process without development.

Michael,

Unfortunately, the Invoice Product (detail) is one of the entities list that cannot be created through workflow, this is not only this entity.

What you can do is either you create using plugin or you use custom workflow activity but tie this to the Invoice Header if possible.
