We are wanting to integrate our website CMS, Drupal with our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), Microsoft Dynamics.
On our website, we have a subscription page (content type - webform) that allows users to subscribe to receive email updates from our Company. This captures information including First Name, Last Name and email address.
We would like this information to automatically feed into and populate the same fields in our CRM, Microsoft Dynamics.
Can anyone provide any information as to how this can be done?
We were originally told that it was a simple matter of tagging the webform fields.
However, now we are being told we either need:
- Microsoft plug-in 'Click Dynamics'
- To develop a bespoke .net based application that reads records from Drupal through a Database and maps it to the CRM.
Does anyone have experience with integrating Drupal webforms with Dynamics? And in your experience, what would your recommend the best course of action to be?
Thanks, Victoria
