Hi,

I have about 20 company in one Navision database and I have around a few hundreds users having access to the Navision.

I would like to do a housekeeping to ensure that for those companies that wind up, users will no longer have access to them except my accounts team.

May I ask how do I remove the access from those normal users besides going to user roles and remove them one by one?

Besides, I can't recall who have the rights to the company that wind up. Do I have to go one by one to check all the hundreds over users?

Thank you

    Hi,

maybe some custom report that will do that for you in one run, when you specify which company you want to delete.

Regarding checking, if you have access to the SQL there are the tables  Access Control where you can find all permissions for all users together with Company name. The second table is User Security ID that represents each user. As this is guid, you can also find a list of users with their user security id in SQL table called User.

    Hi joshlabtech ,

I don't think there is a standard feature available to list all users who belong to the assigned company. But you can develop a new report for this.

For the user permission, can you just try the user group functionality available in the user card. But not 100% sure whether this covers your point..

    Josh,

If you have access to DEV environment and can open Table Access Control (2000000053) you will see the Users, Companies, and Permissions.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
